What sparks your passion for real estate or mortgage lending?

Buying a home isn't something we do every day. I understand the process can be overwhelming and the financing can be confusing. I've found my "niche" in mortgage lending by being able to break down the process into smaller steps, and making sure my clients are comfortable with the decisions they make. I love seeing my clients get the keys to their new home and following their journey afterwards as well. Originating loans is what I do...but it's the smiles and happy tears at closing that keep me loving my "job" after more than 2 decades.

What sets your services apart from others?

I think I'm a very down to earth person. I like to get to know my clients on a personal level so that I can better understand their needs and goals. I believe in having honest conversations, even when they are hard. With 20+ years of experience, I am patient and creative, and always keep the end goal in sight.

What's the #1 tip you give to first-time homebuyers?

As soon as you start thinking about buying a home, connect with a local and knowledgeable lender. This allows us to review your current financial profile, as well as your goals. With this information we can provide insight and advice on how to obtain the best possible terms and programs for your situation.

What would you want me to know about yourself?

Let's see...I've been married to my husband for 20+ years and we have 2 children. My daughter Ali is 18 and is a professional dog groomer. My son is 16 and is still in High School and is an avid hockey player. I've lived in NH my entire life, so when I take time off I love to travel. Outside of family and work, my passion lies with horses. I try to compete, but I'm not very good. (for me success in staying on). I also love photography, fresh water fishing, and my 2 dogs!

What's your favorite hidden gem in New Hampshire?

Oh-There is SO much to LOVE in NH. Here are a few of my favorites: I'm a huge fan of ice cream, and love Moo's in Derry.. Taking a drive across the Kancamagus in the fall is one of the most beautiful drives you can take. Canobie Lake Park in Salem is fun for all ages! Attending the Deerfield Fair is an annual event for me where I indulge in WAY too many fair foods. I'm always up to go for a hike, and think Mt. Monadnock is one of the best. Fireworks and sandcastles at Hampton are a blast (literally) in the summer too.
